The iPhone 18 Pro Max, at RM5,999. Three models scoring all fourteen phones in the catalog put it first at 93.7 on six criteria, 1.6 ahead of the 18 Pro; with release recency, 10% of each score since 27 September 2026, it scores 94.2, 1.4 ahead . It now carries the narrowest disagreement on the slate at 6 points . That is the closest thing to a settled result on this page — and 1.6 is still not a separation.

The iPhone Duo. It leads by 0.9 points, against a Xiaomi panel spread of 13 , and it is the only one of the three that is both the top score and a phone you can own here. Behind it the Xiaomi 18 Fold leads the Galaxy Z Fold8 by 3.1 points — inside the Xiaomi's own 13-point spread, so not a separation either — and they are separated by everything else: the Samsung is RM7,099 today with a local warranty, the Xiaomi is a China-only import with no published Malaysian price and no Google Play .

Best lightweight phone in Malaysia

The Samsung Galaxy S26 is the best light phone sold officially in Malaysia: 167 g, seven years of updates and RM3,999 on promotion, scoring 67.0 out of 100. The Honor Magic8 Pro Air scores highest, 75.5, and weighs only 155 g, but it is a China-only import with no update promise. The Galaxy S25 is lighter, at 162 g, and scores higher on quality than the S26 at the same price; it ranks lower only because it is a year older. On a budget, the Tecno Pova Slim 5G is the lightest phone sold officially here, at 156 g and RM939, but no seller confirmed stock at the check.
