AI score breakdown
scored as laptopsThe biggest strength is category-leading sustained performance from the Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus and RTX 5090 paired with an excellent dual-mode 240Hz/440Hz display, achieved unusually quietly (under 50 dB in performance mode). The biggest weakness is value: at a $3,999 MSRP it offers no meaningful performance gain over the prior generation while still running warm under load, and the trackpad's limited clickable area holds back the otherwise strong input.
The overall score is the weighted average of these criteria — not a separate judgement. AI-generated scores are not hands-on test results. Percentages show each criterion's weight for this product type.
