ROG Strix Scar 18 (2026)
ASUS's flagship 18-inch gaming laptop for 2026, pairing an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus with up to an RTX 5090 and the world's first 18-inch 4K 240Hz mini-LED panel.
AI score breakdown
scored as laptopsThe 4K 240Hz mini-LED display (1600 nits, 2000+ dimming zones) and RTX 5090/Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus combo make this one of the most capable gaming laptops on the market with well-controlled thermals; its biggest weaknesses are weak battery life (roughly 4-5 hours light use, ~1-1.5 hours gaming) and mediocre value, since reviewers note only an incremental performance gain over the 2025 model at a steep $4299.99 MSRP.
The overall score is the weighted average of these criteria — not a separate judgement. AI-generated scores are not hands-on test results. Percentages show each criterion's weight for this product type.
