Buying notes & calculation details
Availability never changes these scores. Purchase values were recalculated on 19 September from the retained 4–7 September price evidence. Card-worth scores remain assessed on 7 September. Price comparisons may be sold out, on backorder or on preorder; they measure the dated offer’s value, not whether you can buy it today. [172]
Purchase score: price fairness 50% + desirable contents 30% + lower risk 20%. Compare within the same buying goal only. The photographed store price is scored against the lowest documented independent same-SKU Malaysian comparison in the retained window, before delivery. All stock states receive the same treatment; matching edition, quantity and dated price still matter. [172, 173]

Pitch Black’s half-box is a mixed-generation offer outside this guide’s purchase scope; it is not a scored Gen-1 purchase. [172]
Availability alone no longer withholds a purchase score. Japanese151, Gem2, First Partner S2/S3, Kangaskhan, Ninetales and Chaos Rising PC now have dated eligible benchmarks. Prismatic eight-tin display remains unscored because the comparison does not establish eight tins; Chinese starter hangers have unmatched variants/units; Eevee & Friends has only a same-seller voucher-dependent comparison; Gardevoir and the apparent Fukuoka RM1119 tag remain uncertain. The old Japanese151 RM800 ten-month cache, stale Gem2 RM380 August-delivery cache and undated Gameshop Tohoku RM676 lead do not meet the common dated evidence rule. They are not rejected for being sold out. Later Pocketmart observations remain a separate September-16 price exercise and do not mix into this retained September4–7 scorecard. [175]

Buying notes & calculation details
Pocketmart's vending menu at DPULZE, Cyberjaya was photographed on 16 September 2026. This is a price-comparison update, not a refresh of the card-worth scores or the earlier scored purchase tables. JP means Japanese, SC Simplified Chinese and EN English. None of the compared machine offers beats its named online asking price before delivery. [152, 158, 163, 164, 165, 166, 171]
Smallest price premium first, not best cards first. Each row compares the same named edition and offered unit; the box matches are conditional on confirming physical counts and seals. These are retrieved retailer asks with availability claims, not checkout-tested stock or the cheapest prices nationwide. Delivery and travel costs are excluded. Machine menu images do not confirm loaded stock or what is dispensed. [163, 164, 165, 166, 171]
The price premium is (Pocketmart price / comparison price - 1) × 100. It is not our value /100 score and must not be pooled with the earlier goal-specific rankings. No new purchase-value score or exact-card demand score is assigned here. The two conditional box comparisons have direct Kanto interest; the all-generation companion also compares the Ninja Spinner, Abyss Eye and Chaos Rising routes. Other offers lack a verified current matching comparison; absence of one is unscored, not zero. [163, 164, 165, 166, 169, 170, 171]

Buying notes & calculation details
These random packs offer Kanto-related artwork at different entry costs. Listed from lower to higher upfront price, not by expected card value or resale return. Chinese and Japanese cards remain eligible on their own evidence; a wrapper character does not identify every card in the set. [153, 154, 160, 161, 170, 171]
A modern Mega form is not a vintage card. Inferno X and Glory of Team Rocket do not inherit English Charizard or Mewtwo prices. Gem Pack Vol.3's Gengar theme does not guarantee a Gengar card, and Gem Vol.4/5 do not guarantee the named Kanto art. English, Japanese and Chinese printings must be valued separately. [159, 160, 161, 170]
Full research & product notes
The complete inventory, alternatives and limits behind the recommendations.
Highest worth: exact-card collector desirability
Highest worth: exact-card collector desirability
11 eligible exact cards are scored here from a bounded audit of 22 printings. This is an evidence-qualified shortlist, not every card obtainable from every photographed expansion. The complete shop inventory remains below. “Market cap” is an analogy only: circulating supply is not known. Chinese and Japanese cards use the same evidence gates as English cards. [120, 132]
Worth score: demand 50% + realised card value 30% + edition distinction 20%. The common window is 24 August–6 September. Prices are medians of title-qualified reported raw NM/mint transactions in USD, not slab values, asks or Malaysian cash bids. Demand counts qualifying sale dates, not buyers or full-market volume. Provider coverage varies across languages. The small samples and subjective edition tiers do not support fine-grained certainty. [120]
How the scores are calculated
How the scores are calculated
Demand uses distinct qualifying dates:1→20,2–3→40,4–6→60,7–10→80,11–14→100. At least 3 admitted records on 2 dates and a history reaching before the window are required. Monetary subscore is 50×log10(median USD/10), clipped 0–100; US$10/100/1,000 map to 0/50/100. Edition tiers are 20 ordinary,60 illustration,70 exclusive-art promo,80 SIR/SAR/alternate art,100 documented finite individually numbered. Unknown print runs are not inferred from grading populations. These editorial anchors explain the index; they do not measure literal scarcity. [120]
Price fairness is 70−150×(shelf RM/comparison RM−1), clipped 0–100. Matching an ask scores 70, not 100. Contents and risk are documented editorial judgements, not estimates of pull probabilities. Inputs keep full precision until the final one-decimal display; displayed ties share merit. The two totals are never averaged. [120]

English Scarlet & Violet—151 Booster Bundle
Shelf price: RM849 · 4 Sep [100] · Store: Impulse Gaming / Box Hunt · Contents: 6 random English 151 packs; no fixed promo
A coherent option if the original set identity is what you want to keep sealed. The expansion contains the original 151 Pokémon; each bundle does not. At the photographed prices, six Box Hunt single packs would cost RM900, RM51 more than the bundle. That is acquisition arithmetic, not an opening-return forecast. Luludemon's separate RM820 asking comparison showed Add to cart on 5 September; checkout and fulfilment were not verified. Released 22 September 2023; 2 years 11 months 16 days old on the research date. Pokémon owner/operator country: Japan. Current stock and the actual copy's manufacture and condition remain unverified. [16, 100, 115, 117]
Japanese language alone is not grounds for exclusion. The issue is paying RM1,999 for this exact box: Hobby Town's dated RM1,999.95 listing supports a local asking comparison, not a bargain or a resale floor. The earlier international index is not carried forward as a current valuation. Released 16 June 2023; 3 years 2 months 22 days old on 7 September. Pokémon owner/operator country: Japan; inspect the actual shrink, batch and package origin. [5, 74, 115, 120]
Pokémon Center Tohoku Special Box
Shelf price: RM799 · 4 Sep [67] · Store: Impulse Gaming · Contents: Fixed Pikachu 260/SV-P; sleeves, deck case and storage box; zero boosters
This deserves consideration alongside 151 because it supplies known Pikachu artwork instead of a chance at a chase. It contains one promo, 64 sleeves, a deck case and a long storage box, with no boosters. The official listed product date is 20 June 2025, 1 year 2 months 18 days earlier; that is not independently verified first delivery. HeavyArm's older RM889 comparison was backorder. The new complete-box comparison is Luludemon RM680, checked 7 September with Add to cart, before delivery. [142] Pokémon's March 2026 production notice rules out treating regional branding as fixed supply. Owner/operator country: Japan. [67, 68, 70, 115]
Use Box Hunt's readable RM1,199 offer as the firm photographed price; the new complete-box online comparison is RM880 before delivery. [143] Impulse's apparent RM1,119 would be lower, but requires confirmation. The fixed Pikachu is different from Tohoku's; neither gift contains boosters. Official listed date: 11 July 2025, 1 year 1 month 27 days earlier, not proof of first shipment. Owner/operator country: Japan. Additional production and copy condition matter; no appreciation forecast is made. [67, 68, 99, 115]
Series 1 belongs in the discussion, but not as a guaranteed way to receive Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle together. Its promo pack supplies three of nine designs across Kanto, Sinnoh and Alola; no equal regional pull probability is assumed. If you want one exact starter, price that single first. Released 20 March 2026; 5 months 18 days old on 7 September. Owner/operator country: Japan. [7, 115, 117]
The reason to consider this is its fixed promo and display kit, not an assumption that its packs produce valuable Charizards. It is Gen-1-adjacent rather than original-151-only. The RM999 and RM1,170 Malaysian comparisons were both sold out when rechecked; Hobby Town showed RM1,299.95 with an available-looking stock indication on 5 September, without checkout verification. Released 14 November 2025; 9 months 24 days old. Owner/operator country: Japan. [49, 51, 115]

English and Chinese products have different promo quantities and cannot share a valuation. [115, 10, 44]
Lower-upfront-cost openings: Kanto and mixed-generation
Lower-upfront-cost openings: Kanto and mixed-generation
The 151 products below are Kanto-centred. The Pikachu gift and Start Deck100 have mixed-generation card pools; they are not substitutes for an all-Kanto set. [29, 63]

What the money buys
English 151 mini tin
Impulse RM299; two packs
RM149.50 per pack before valuing tin/coin/art insert. Three tins cost RM897, RM48 more than a six-pack bundle. No fixed Machamp or Scyther card. [59, 60, 116]
English 151 loose pack
Box Hunt RM150
Lower upfront spend than a bundle, not lower pack cost or a guaranteed Mew. [100, 104]
Chinese Collect151 puzzle-magnet set
Impulse RM49; one five-card Journey pack
Random magnet plus random cards; no fixed starter/Pikachu card. Released 17 January 2025, 1 year 7 months 21 days old. [83]
Chinese Pikachu Legendary Celebration Poké Ball gift
Impulse RM49
One Pikachu foil of random artwork, one random legendary foil and one twenty-five-card Primordial pack. Pikachu species is included; gold Mew is not guaranteed. [28, 29, 30]
Japanese Start Deck100 Battle Collection
Impulse RM129 in an earlier view; later tag unreadable
Mixed-generation: one random sixty-card deck with at least two Pokémon ex. “100” is not card count or equal chase odds. Confirm the current price. Released 19 December 2025, 8 months 19 days old. [11, 63, 115]
Opening can be enjoyable without being profitable. The lower-priced Chinese products are genuine collecting candidates, but a valuable possible card is not their expected return. [120, 117]

Chinese Collect151: three additional waves

These waves have different Pikachu illustration printings; the Journey170 price does not value them. Official water/dragon/colorless, grass/psychic/darkness and fire/lightning/fighting emphasis concerns relative weighting of Poké Ball/Master Ball-pattern cards respectively—not every foil rarity or personal hit odds. Their exact photographed formats remain unconfirmed, so no priced winner is declared. [114]

The current worth scores use the filtered sample above. The individually dated examples below are retained as research context, including asking prices and records with less-specific condition; they are not additional inputs to those scores. [120, 132]
The following are evidence examples, not a list of guaranteed pack contents. NM means near mint. Reported transactions have not had every payment or condition photograph independently authenticated; foreign asks are not Malaysian buyback quotes. [69, 73, 102, 107]

English 151 Charizard ex SIR199/165
Reported ungraded transaction US$381, 2 Sep

English Destined Rivals Mewtwo ex SIR231/182

Mixed-generation set with a relevant Kanto target. [19]
English Ascended Heroes Pikachu ex SIR276/217
Reported US$879 and US$895, 4 Sep
Expensive possible card, not evidence a RM449 bundle repays itself. [20]
English Surging Sparks Pikachu ex SIR238/191
Reported NM US$317.67, 1 Sep; US$282.10, 31 Aug
Different Pikachu from Ascended or Chinese 151. [88]
Japanese Tohoku Pikachu260 / Fukuoka Pikachu289

Chinese Stellar Pikachu ex SAR245/208
NM asks €220 / €220 / €260, 7 Sep index
Thin asking sample; not a guaranteed card in the RM119 slim box. [73]
Chinese Fearless Arcanine ex SAR155/130
NM asks €320 / €339.99 / €340, 7 Sep index
Direct page unavailable; a research lead, not a Malaysian cash value. [81]
Chinese Charizard MTLF003/023 / Dragonite MTKF008/023
HK$40 / HK$20 retailer asks, 5 Sep
Exact ordinary deck printings. Multiplying asks by deck copies does not establish profit. [23, 22]
For lower-priced fixed English cards, live 7 September TCGplayer NM market metrics were US$8.48 for KangaskhanSVP055 and US$2.32 for NinetalesMEW038/165. These are platform metrics, not audited sales; international postage can overwhelm a cheap single. A local condition-matched offer is more useful than a currency-converted headline. [97]
Other mixed-generation sets and why they are not 151 substitutes
Other mixed-generation sets and why they are not 151 substitutes
All photographed families have been considered, but a Kanto character inside a mixed set does not make the whole set a dedicated Gen-1 route. [120, 117]
Group
Relevant distinction
English Destined Rivals / Ascended Heroes / Prismatic bundles
Impulse RM349 / RM449 / RM449, six packs each. Mewtwo/Pikachu/Eevee-family interest is real; the sets are mixed-generation. [15, 16, 17, 19, 20]
English Temporal Forces / Surging Sparks / Scarlet & Violet
Pikachu and Slowpoke have exact-card evidence. Box Hunt's RM35 pack is Temporal Forces, not Black Bolt; Universal Surging and base-set sleeved boosters were RM45. [103, 86, 88, 89]
Japanese Ruler of the Black Flame / Mega Dream ex
Impulse RM649 / RM499 boxes; Charizard/Pidgeot and Mega Dragonite targets are distinct from their ordinary printings. The full sets remain mixed-generation. [74, 75, 76, 26]
Eevee, Pikachu, Arcanine, Venusaur and Mewtwo interest does not guarantee those cards. Gem3's RM449 box should be compared with the dated RM260 local offer; uncorroborated Mewtwo sales are not used as valuations. [34, 35, 36, 71, 72, 73, 81]
PC and standard ETBs
Stamp, promo and pack-count differences matter. For example, standard Mega Evolution's Gardevoir-art variant fixes AlakazamMEP009; Prismatic fixes EeveeSVP173. These are not the pictured chase cards. [38, 40, 42, 65]
Black Bolt / White Flare; later-generation headline products
Unova-focused sets and modern Darkrai/Greninja/Rayquaza products belong in the broader guide, not a strict original151 league. [75, 106, 113]
The all-generations companion guide contains the complete English format/price comparison, Japanese pack-family tables, Chinese box and gift distinctions, and ETB edition review. It includes products that do not fit this guide's narrow collecting purpose.
What we did not rank, and why
What we did not rank, and why
Unpriced green Bulbasaur stock, the blue partly hidden gift, tiny price tags, uncertain box counts, pink display prices and hidden variants remain unconfirmed, not poor-scoring products. Box Hunt's two probable RM449 bundles have unresolved identities; neither is treated as a cheaper 151 offer. The Prismatic Surprise Box contains four packs and a random stamped promo, but its Impulse price remains unreadable. Ogerpon-family boxes require confirmation that the photographed object is the complete gift rather than only its storage container. [12, 52, 62, 79, 85, 100]
Protective sleeves, binders, deck boxes and toys have utility, but do not supply the same collecting outcome as cards. The photographed Pokénade toy was RM229 at Impulse and apparent RM249 at Box Hunt, where the tag needs confirmation; it is an electronic toy, not a TCG product. Other franchises—One Piece, Dragon Ball, Digimon, Gundam, Lorcana, Kayou and others—are recorded outside both Pokémon comparisons, not declared worthless. [55, 84, 109, 110, 111]
Method, dates and buying checks
Method, dates and buying checks
The approved scorecards above replace the former mixed-purpose rubric. Card worth and purchase value are different measures; missing evidence stays unscored. [120]
IOI shop prices come from 4 September photographs; the separate Pocketmart menu prices are dated 16 September. Official contents, online offers and card evidence retain their individually cited dates. Pokémon's owner/operator country is Japan. Language alone establishes neither manufacturing country nor authenticity; inspect the specific package and request an itemised receipt. No every-face seal, warehouse stock or Malaysian resale bid was verified. [112, 120, 152, 171]
At Box Hunt, the photographed loose-pack notice described when a fresh box would be opened and restricted selection/inspection. Ask staff about provenance and what inspection is permitted. Those rules do not establish weighing, searching, resealing or misconduct. A sealed box and a loose pack are different provenance propositions, not different guaranteed hit rates. [108]
What would change the answer
What would change the answer
A confirmed same-edition, same-condition Malaysian offer may change the best purchase format; sold-out and backorder asks are not ready-stock bargains. [70, 98, 117]
Clear counts, tags and foil numbers would allow the unconfirmed Chinese 151, gift and partial-display products to be compared properly. [114, 85]
Verified local realised prices for exact cards, with condition and selling costs, would strengthen monetary-value conclusions. A high foreign ask alone would not. [69, 73, 97]
If only one card is wanted, compare the delivered single before paying for unwanted packs, accessories or duplicate deck cards. Buying nothing remains a valid outcome. [117]
Pocketmart DPULZE: complete menu and bundle arithmetic
Pocketmart DPULZE: complete menu and bundle arithmetic
The five photographs contain 24 distinct priced Pokémon offers: 18 single packs, two explicit three-pack bundles and four pictured boxes. Repeated slots are not separate offers or inventory counts. A further tin is sold out; other card franchises and figures are recorded below. This brings the retained photo coverage to 26 across four user-identified retail locations. Pocketmart is in Cyberjaya, not the earlier IOI City Mall group. [152, 158]
All prices in the following table are 16 September menu observations. The offers are unscored. No physical contents, factory seals, authenticity, loaded stock, loose-pack provenance or refund handling were independently confirmed. A box illustration and truncated title are insufficient to promise a dispensed pack count. The mixed-generation rows are retained for coverage, not endorsed as Kanto-led purchases. 499.99
Box pictured; confirm standard 30-pack box and seal. Higher than checked iGamez ask and historical Impulse tag. [166, 167, 157, 160, 170]
Bundle arithmetic, not pull-value arithmetic: Storm Emeralda x3 costs RM69.99, or RM23.33 per pack, saving RM1.98 (2.75%) against three machine singles. Pitch Black x3 costs RM95.99, about RM32.00 per pack, saving RM2.98 (3.01%). These retailer bundles are not official six-pack Booster Bundles and do not establish better hit odds. [167]
If the pictured Ninja Spinner and Abyss Eye boxes contain the standard 30 packs, each is about RM16.67 per pack and 12.24% below 30 machine singles. That is a quantity comparison within the machine, not a lower price than the online box offers. If Mega Dream contains ten packs, its RM599.99 is RM0.09 above ten RM59.99 singles; there is no quantity discount. If Gem3 is the standard 18-pack CBB3C box, the unit cost is about RM27.78. All box divisions require physical confirmation. [165, 166, 167]
Earlier shop tags are historical, not refreshed alternatives. On 4 September, Box Hunt's Ninja Spinner JP single was RM12, Glory of Team Rocket RM30, Black Bolt JP RM40, White Flare JP RM35 and Chaos Rising EN RM26. Impulse's pictured Abyss Eye, Mega Dream and Gem3 boxes were RM329, RM499 and RM449 respectively, with their recorded format caveats. Do not treat those tags as current stock. Impulse's Pitch Black sleeve is a different outer SKU from the machine's foil-pack image; English and Japanese Black Bolt are not interchangeable. [168]
Pocketmart DPULZE: edition dates and exclusions
Pocketmart DPULZE: edition dates and exclusions
Pokémon's owner/operator country is Japan; language does not establish manufacturing origin or a local distributor's ownership. These are set release dates and ages on 16 September 2026, not manufacturing dates or scarcity signals. Malaysian availability here means listed on the photographed menu, except the sold-out tin. Card-worth ages and transaction data elsewhere retain their explicitly dated 7 September assessment. [4, 159, 160, 161, 162, 170, 171]
Black Bolt and White Flare show the ordinary Japanese seven-card format, not the 35-card Deluxe or English product. Gem packs contain four random foil cards, not a guaranteed rare illustration. The Gem Vol.5 official product body was retrieved through the search index after direct page fetches timed out. No hit-rate, expected return or completed-card-sales refresh is claimed. [159, 161, 169]
The sold-out “30th Celebration Tin” cannot be matched confidently to a language, exact variant or card pool. Figures and other card games are outside these rankings, not declared worthless. A later scoring refresh needs comparable exact printing, condition and completed-sale evidence in one common window, plus matched purchase formats and delivered prices. [157, 169, 170, 171]

Original research summary
English Ascended Heroes Pikachu ex 276/217 leads this Gen-1 card shortlist. Card worth and value for money are separate rankings below. A valuable possible pull does not make its pack good value. [120, 122]
For photographed purchases, the Chinese Charizard and Dragonite decks retain the leading fixed-card scores. The Japanese 151 box leads the corrected Gen-1 opening and sealed-product tables. These are separate buying goals, based on dated price comparisons that may not be orderable. [172, 174]
Card-worth retains its 7 September 2026 assessment. Purchase values were corrected on 19 September using the retained dated price evidence; stock contributes no points. [172] The original 21 photographs were taken 4 September at Impulse Gaming, Universal Gaming and Box Hunt, IOI City Mall. Five Pocketmart vending-menu photos from DPULZE, Cyberjaya on 16 September add a separate local price check below; they do not refresh the card-sale sample or prove loaded stock. Exact-card singles are research targets, not claimed photographed singles stock. [120, 152, 158, 171]
The availability filter refers to these exact single-card printings. Their Malaysian stock is unconfirmed; pack or gift-box availability is not single-card stock. Purchase tables retain all dated offers and buying notes. [176]
Malaysian store prices below are for the named pack or box, not the individual rare card. IOI shop prices are dated 4 September; Pocketmart menu prices are dated 16 September. Neither is a lowest-price or current-stock promise. Possible pulls are not guaranteed; fixed promos are named. The existing value tables remain sorted by their dated score within each buying goal. The separate Pocketmart table sorts price premiums, not card worth or a new value score. [151, 152, 171]
How this was scored
Rank the most sought-after exact cards of the original 151 Pokémon, and separately the best-value documented purchases for a Malaysian Kanto collector. Modern Mega forms are labelled. Non-Kanto cards do not become eligible because their packs contain other Kanto cards. Chinese, Japanese and English editions are assessed on their own evidence, without a language penalty.
Buyer demand — 50% · Breadth of recent reported raw near-mint sale activity for the exact printing, measured by distinct sale dates in the common observation window. A sample of market activity, not total sales or unique buyers.
Realised card value — 30% · Median of qualifying reported raw near-mint transactions, in USD on the same observation window; not an asking price, graded value or Malaysian cash bid.
Scarcity / distinctiveness — 20% · Verified artwork, rarity designation and edition distinction. Where total supply is unknown this measures distinction, not a made-up print run.

Japanese 151 Booster Box — shelf price and contents
ObservationRecorded 2026-09-04
Impulse Gaming displayed a Japanese Pokémon Card 151 booster box for RM1,999; a sealed box contains 20 packs, each with 7 random cards.
The shelf price is a dated observation from Impulse Gaming, IOI City Mall. Original store photographs are retained on file and are not publicly displayed with this guide. External product links describe the format or contents; they do not establish this store's price, current stock or the condition of a particular copy.

ObservationRecorded 2026-09-04
Impulse Gaming displayed the English 18-pack Pitch Black half display at RM399 on 4 September.

Pokémon ownership and card-production origin
OfficialRecorded 2026-09-04
Brand/operator country is Japan: The Pokémon Company was established by Nintendo, Creatures and GAME FREAK, all Japanese companies. English cards are printed in the US or EU; Japanese cards are printed and supported by The Pokémon Company in Japan. Actual origin must be checked on each wrapper.
Company history supports the operator's Japanese origin; the support page describes card-production regions. Actual manufacturing origin still needs checking on the physical wrapper.
Hobby Town listed the Japanese Pokémon Card 151 sealed booster box at RM1,999.95 on the observation date. This supports a local asking-price comparison, not a current bargain, landed-price benchmark or resale floor.
Historical international index figures are not used as a refreshed valuation in this revision.
First Partner collections and nearby products — shelf prices
ObservationRecorded 2026-09-04
Impulse Gaming, IOI City Mall displayed English First Partner Illustration Collection Series 1 at RM329, Series 2 at RM229 and Series 3 at RM229; Japanese MEGA Start Deck 100 Battle Collection at RM129; Dragon Shield Standard Matte 100 sleeves at RM59; and ClearEdge booster-box protectors at RM49.
Original store photographs are retained on file and are not publicly displayed here. These are readable shelf tags on the observation date, not current stock, authenticity or sealed-condition guarantees. Uncertain tags are omitted.

English First Partner Series 1 — official contents
OfficialRecorded 2026-09-05
English First Partner Illustration Collection Series 1 launched on 20 March 2026. It contains a promo pack with 3 of 9 illustration rare-style promos from Kanto, Sinnoh or Alola, 2 regular boosters and a sticker sheet.
It does not guarantee the Kanto trio or all nine promos. Equal region probabilities are not established by the official description.
English First Partner Series 2 — official contents
OfficialRecorded 2026-09-05
English First Partner Illustration Collection Series 2 launched on 19 June 2026. It contains 3 of 9 illustration rare-style promos from Johto, Unova or Galar, 2 regular boosters and a sticker sheet.
The promo pool is not Kanto. Random cards in the regular boosters do not change that product identity.
English First Partner Series 3 — official contents
OfficialRecorded 2026-09-05
English First Partner Illustration Collection Series 3 launched on 7 August 2026. It contains 3 of 9 illustration rare-style promos from Hoenn, Kalos or Paldea, 2 regular boosters and a sticker sheet.
The promo pool is not Kanto, and one collection does not contain all nine of its possible promos.
English First Partner collections — Malaysian retailer comparisons
RetailerRecorded 2026-09-05
Hobby Town listed English First Partner Series 2 and Series 3 at RM199.95 each, with 2 of each shown in stock. KTSD listed a Series 1 six-unit case at RM1,700, with 2 cases shown ready stock; this was not a single-box RM283.33 offer.
These are dated retailer asks. Checkout availability and delivery costs were not verified. No reliable current Malaysian single-box comparison establishes the photographed Series 1 price as a bargain or overpricing.
Japanese MEGA Start Deck 100 — official format and random selection
OfficialRecorded 2026-09-05
Japanese MEGA Start Deck 100 Battle Collection launched on 19 December 2025. Each purchase contains one randomly selected 60-card constructed deck, damage markers and at least 2 Pokémon ex. The number 100 describes the deck range, not the card count.
The manufacturer does not provide numerical SAR/MUR odds sufficient for an opening-value calculation. A range of 100 deck labels does not establish a 1% chance of a particular chase card.
Prismatic Evolutions Surprise Box — official contents
OfficialRecorded 2026-09-05
The silver-and-black Espeon-and-gem side panels match Prismatic Evolutions Surprise Boxes, launched on 7 February 2025. Each contains 4 Prismatic Evolutions boosters, 1 random expansion-logo foil promo from 9 Eevee or Eeveelution ex designs, a storage box, 4 dividers and a code card.
Espeon side art does not select the promo. The stamped promo is not the valuable Umbreon special illustration rare from random boosters. Equal nine-way probabilities and the photographed shelf price were not established.
The Torchic-art hanger matches the Simplified Chinese 30th Celebration First Partner Special Illustration Holofoil Card Set Vol.3, released on 7 August 2026. It contains 1 random promo from 9 equally produced Hoenn, Kalos or Paldea designs, a magnetic acrylic display frame and 1 five-card 共逐荣光 booster.
Torchic wrapper art does not guarantee Torchic. The promo pool contains no Kanto starters. The official page supports the matching packaging and contents, not the store's price or current stock.
Chinese First Partner Vol.3 — exact promos and asking-price limits
MarketRecorded 2026-09-05
The Vol.3 promo pool is Treecko 007/30th-P, Torchic 008, Mudkip 009, Chespin 016, Fennekin 017, Froakie 018, Sprigatito 025, Fuecoco 026 and Quaxly 027. An exact Simplified Chinese Torchic 008/30th-P listing asked US$9.90 or Best Offer, described as ungraded Near Mint or better, plus US$9.99 displayed shipping. Cardmarket listed the exact Chinese Treecko 007 from EUR11.99.
These are indexed foreign asks, not completed sales or verified Malaysian delivered quotes. No complete, condition-matched nine-outcome transaction distribution or expected opening value was established. The Impulse hanger itself was photographed at RM49 on 4 September 2026; that separate shelf observation is not the older Vol.1 RM50 retailer comparison.
Six-pack booster bundles — official contents and release dates
OfficialRecorded 2026-09-05
The English 151, Destined Rivals, Prismatic Evolutions and Ascended Heroes Booster Bundles each contain 6 random boosters, with no advertised guaranteed high-value promo. Their bundle releases were 22 September 2023, 30 May 2025, 7 March 2025 and 24 April 2026 respectively. Only 151 is explicitly original-151 themed; the other sets mix generations while including Kanto characters.
These are exact bundle release dates, not necessarily the earlier expansion dates. A relevant Kanto character or valuable card does not make the whole card pool Kanto-only.
151 and Destined Rivals bundles — Malaysian retailer comparisons
RetailerRecorded 2026-09-05
Luludemon listed the English 151 bundle at RM820 with Add to cart visible, RM29 below Impulse's RM849. Hobby Town listed Destined Rivals at RM399.95 with a last-stock label and Add to cart, RM50.95 above Impulse's RM349. MY HOBBY's RM299 Destined Rivals listing was sold out.
Checkout availability was not verified. These dated asking-price comparisons do not establish resale profit or a market-wide bargain; an unavailable lower ask is not a purchasable alternative.
Ascended and Prismatic bundles — local asks and historical auction
RetailerRecorded 2026-09-05
Hobby Town listed an individual Ascended Heroes bundle at RM449.95 with 2 shown in stock; MY HOBBY listed RM450, sold out. Lucky Seven advertised Ascended at RM369 with conflicting availability wording and listed Prismatic at RM399 without verified product stock. A TCGNow Prismatic six-pack bundle auction recorded a winning bid of RM435 on 24 June 2026.
Lower asks are leads to verify, not guaranteed available alternatives. The expired auction's winning bid is historical evidence, not proof of payment or fulfilment and not a current offer. Individual bundles must not be confused with larger displays.
English 151 Charizard ex 199/165 — reported transactions
MarketRecorded 2026-09-05
PriceCharting reports an ungraded English 151 Charizard ex SIR 199/165 transaction at US$381 on 2 September 2026. This is the dated example used in this guide.
This is a third-party reported gross transaction. Underlying ended-listing condition photographs and payment were not independently audited. The card is a possible random pull, not guaranteed bundle contents or a Malaysian buyback quote; this example does not establish pack opening value.
Destined Rivals Mewtwo ex 231/182 — reported transactions
MarketRecorded 2026-09-05
PokeValues reports English Destined Rivals Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex SIR 231/182 at US$475 on 4 September 2026, a raw MINT-titled listing at US$446.36 on 2 September, and TCGplayer Near Mint English at US$439.33 on 31 August.
These are gross third-party reported transactions, not audited Malaysian sales. Underlying condition photographs were not verified. The card is not guaranteed bundle contents, and its price alone does not establish expected opening value.
Ascended Heroes Pikachu ex 276/217 — reported transactions
MarketRecorded 2026-09-05
PriceCharting reports ungraded English Ascended Heroes Pikachu ex SIR 276/217 transactions at US$879 and US$895 on 4 September 2026, an explicitly Near Mint listing at US$875 on 1 September, and TCGplayer Near Mint English at US$700 on 31 August.
Selected titles match the printing, but underlying condition photographs were not independently audited. This is evidence of a valuable Kanto card within a mixed-generation set, not guaranteed random-pack proceeds or a Malaysian resale floor.
Traditional Chinese Mega Tactics Decks — fixed official contents
OfficialRecorded 2026-09-05
The four photographed Traditional Chinese products match the 2026 Mega Tactics Decks, released on 17 July 2026. Each contains a fixed 60-card deck, damage-counter and marker sheet, paper half-playmat and tactics guide.
There is no random deck selection or advertised SAR/MUR chase slot. Their exact guaranteed cards can be assessed for collecting value even when competitive play is not the buyer's purpose.
Mega Dragonite Tactics Deck — fixed cards and asking-price evidence
RetailerRecorded 2026-09-05, 2026-09-04
The RM79 Traditional Chinese Mega Dragonite ex deck guarantees 2 MTKF 008/023 Mega Dragonite ex, 4 Dratini, 3 Dragonair and 1 each of Keldeo ex, Meowth ex and Mega Kangaskhan ex. MS-TCG listed the exact headline single at HK$20 each.
The Kanto evolutionary line is directly relevant, but the Mega form and mixed-generation deck are not original-151-only. The foreign single-card ask is not a condition-matched completed sale or a total-deck net resale valuation.
Mega Charizard X Tactics Deck — fixed cards and verified asking snapshot
RetailerRecorded 2026-09-05
The RM79 Traditional Chinese deck guarantees 3 MTLF 003/023 Mega Charizard X ex, 4 Charmander, 3 Charmeleon, 2 Oricorio ex and 1 Fezandipiti ex. On 5 September 2026, MS-TCG's exact MTLF 003/023 single-card listing asked HK$40.00, with Add to cart and 2 items shown available. Its automatic MYR display was RM20.63.
This is an overseas asking-price and stock snapshot, not a Malaysian offer, completed sale or checkout-fulfilment guarantee. Other cards, fees and liquidity remain unvalued; no total-deck resale profit or monetary superiority is established.
The 4 September Impulse Gaming photograph identifies Japanese Pokémon Card151 at RM1,999, Mega Symphonia at RM349 and Mega Brave at RM349. The Ruler of the Black Flame price is unreadable in this view. These are dated shelf asks, not evidence of current stock, authenticity or every package seal.
Retained September 2026 observations; no September 19 price or stock refresh. Original private photographs and research are retained locally.

Japanese151 exact box format and dated comparison
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-05
Japanese Pokémon Card151 SV2a contains 20 packs of 7 random cards and released 16 June 2023. The Impulse shelf ask was RM1,999 on 4 September. Hobby Town’s retrieved 5 September exact Japanese twenty-pack box ask was RM1,999.95; checkout and fulfilment were unverified. MY Hobby’s RM800 price was a roughly ten-month-old cache and is outside the retained scoring window.
Retained September 2026 observations; no September 19 price or stock refresh. Original private photographs and research are retained locally.
Japanese Charizard and Pidgeot — exact raw-card examples
MarketRecorded 2026-09-05
Selected reported transactions for Japanese Ruler of the Black Flame Charizard ex SAR134/108 were US$134.99 and US$162.19 on 31 August 2026, with a near-mint-title example at US$155.85 on 16 August. Pidgeot ex SAR136/108 had near-mint-title examples at US$30 on 20 July and US$33.69 on 30 July.
Inspected 5 September 2026. These are reported foreign transactions, not independently authenticated condition or payments, Malaysian buyer offers, or guaranteed booster contents. English Charizard 223/197 and graded copies are different comparisons.
The Impulse Gaming poster photographed 4 September 2026 lists Chaos Rising standard ETB RM349 and Pokémon Center ETB RM949, Pitch Black standard ETB RM449, Prismatic standard ETB RM799, Destined Rivals standard ETB RM699, First Partner Series 1 RM329 and Series 2 RM229, Chaos Rising full display RM899 and Pitch Black full display RM769 or half display RM399. The dated advertised asks do not prove stock, offer duration or product authenticity.
Retained September 2026 observations; no September 19 price or stock refresh. Original private photographs and research are retained locally.

The 4 September 2026 shelf offers included the Simplified Chinese Pikachu Legendary Celebration Poké Ball gift at RM49, Gem Pack Vol.3 at RM449, Primordial Arts Overgrow twenty-five-card-format box at RM179 and Chasing Glory twenty-card-format box at RM249. English Mega Clefable ex tins were RM159 and a standard-looking Twilight Masquerade ETB was RM699. A Traditional Chinese Abyss Eye box had an obscured price in this view.
Observed at Impulse Gaming, IOI City Mall; reviewed on 5 September. The original photographs are retained on file, not publicly displayed. The red Poké Ball gift is not an English three-pack tin. Hidden stock, exact ETB edition, seals and current availability were not verified.

Pikachu Legendary Celebration Poké Ball — random card contents
OfficialRecorded 2026-09-05, 2023-12-08
The Simplified Chinese gift includes a storage Poké Ball, one random Pikachu foil, one random legendary-Pokémon foil and one twenty-five-card Primordial Arts pack, randomly Overgrow or 激. Pikachu is guaranteed as a species, but its artwork is not selected by the buyer. Gold Mew and a complete promo set are not guaranteed. Released on 8 December 2023.
Official contents and printing checklist checked on 5 September 2026, when the product was 2 years 8 months 28 days old. The random second promo and booster pool include later-generation Pokémon. No gold-Mew pull probability or expected monetary return was established.
Chinese Legendary Celebration — exact Pikachu and Mew asks
MarketRecorded 2026-09-05
Cardmarket evidence accessed on 5 September 2026 showed near-mint asks from €2 for Simplified Chinese Pikachu001/024 and from €23 for gold Mew025/024. Their displayed trend/thirty-day figures were €2.98/€2.89 and €30.64/€27.35 respectively. Ordinary Mew002/024 is a different printing. These figures do not make gold Mew a guaranteed inclusion in the RM49 gift.
The pages were cached about one day earlier. These are foreign seller asks and platform aggregates, not independently inspected same-condition paid sales or Malaysian buyback quotes. No dependable current Malaysian exact-gift comparison was established.
Chinese Eevee & Friends Exclusive Gift — fixed promos and contents
OfficialRecorded 2026-09-05
The Simplified Chinese Eevee & Friends Exclusive Gift Box fixes Espeon ex297/SV-P and Umbreon ex298/SV-P and contains fifteen ten-card Terastal Gathering packs. Accessories include a playmat and case, deck box and card protector, sixty-four sleeves, damage-counter case, nine damage dice, coin die, metal magnet and status markers. Released on 12 June 2026. Espeon and Umbreon are Gen2, not Kanto species.
Checked on 5 September 2026, when it was 2 months 24 days old. This is not the English Prismatic Super-Premium Collection or the separate eight-pack binder gift. Foil wording does not guarantee shiny-colour Pokémon or a complete set of Eeveelution chase cards.
The English Mega Moonlit Tin with Mega Clefable ex contains four boosters, fixed promo MEP072 and a Live code. It launched 5 June 2026. Impulse's photographed price was RM159. The exact ordinary promo's indexed TCGplayer market metric was US$0.68 when checked on 5 September.
The card metric was cached about one day and was not a freshly audited near-mint sale. MEP072 is not Perfect Order 031/088,103/088 or 119/088. The official tin contents do not fix this batch's booster expansions, and the promo metric does not value the whole tin.
Gem Pack Vol.3 — four foils per pack, eighteen-pack box reference
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-05, 2025-09-26
Simplified Chinese Gem Pack Vol.3 CBB3C launched on 26 September 2025. Official packs contain four random foil cards, with Gengar, Meowth, Cubone and later-generation artwork among multiple printings. Matching retailer descriptions specify eighteen packs per box; the photographed count panel still needs checking. No named illustration or Master Ball card is guaranteed. The orange box is not the separate Gengar Surprise Chest gift.
Checked on 5 September 2026, when the expansion was 11 months 10 days old. Official information supports the pack contents; matching retailers corroborate the box count. A conflicting fifteen-pack set-summary figure was not used.
Malaysian Gem3 and Clefable tin comparisons — 5 September
RetailerRecorded 2026-09-05
On 5 September 2026, Card Master Club's matching sealed Gem Pack Vol.3 listing showed RM260 and four in stock. ICM Gaming's Mega Clefable ex tin catalogue offer showed RM130 and two left. Against Impulse's 4 September shelf asks of RM449 and RM159, the differences were RM189 (72.69%) and RM29 (22.31%) before delivery and condition adjustments.
These were observed seller-page asking prices and stock indications, not completed orders. Checkout, shipping, fulfilment, seals and authenticity were not independently tested, and the observations do not establish present stock.
Impulse's 4 September 2026 RM179 Venusaur-fronted Simplified Chinese Primordial Arts Overgrow CS3aC box is the six-pack, twenty-five-card format. Each random pack includes five foils. Released on 17 November 2023, this format changed twenty-five-card boxes from twenty-four packs to six. It is not a Traditional Chinese Heat Wave Arena box or a guaranteed Venusaur VMAX.
Checked on 5 September 2026, when it was 2 years 9 months 19 days old. Impulse's own RM200.46 online ask came from an approximately two-week-old page; it was neither an independent nor verified ready-stock benchmark.
Chinese Chasing Glory Mewtwo268 — valuation not established
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-05
The exact candidate is Simplified Chinese Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex SAR268/222 CSV10C. Aggregator-labelled transaction records accessed on 5 September 2026 could not be corroborated against the original listings, so no firm monetary value is adopted. They do not value the ordinary 085, SR239, UR282 or another language's printing, and the card is not guaranteed box content.
This remains an uncorroborated research lead, not verified paid-sale evidence or a basis for scoring. Other inspected aggregator records demonstrated that sale labels can include ended-unsold or multi-quantity offers; the figures are therefore intentionally withheld from a buying verdict.
Hobby Town product and catalogue observations retrieved 5 September showed English Chaos Rising 36-pack display RM749.95, Pitch Black 36-pack display RM749.95 and First Partner Series 2 RM199.95. Retrieval freshness was qualified; these are dated asking evidence, not checkout or delivery verification. Generic set copy is not used as product-specification evidence.
Retained September 2026 observations; no September 19 price or stock refresh. Original private photographs and research are retained locally.
Mega Evolution, Phantasmal Flames and Perfect Order ETB contents
OfficialRecorded 2026-09-05
Standard Mega Evolution ETBs contain nine packs and either Riolu MEP010 in the Lucario variant or Alakazam MEP009 in the Gardevoir variant; release 26 September 2025. Standard Phantasmal Flames has nine packs and Charcadet MEP022; release 14 November 2025. Perfect Order Pokémon Center has eleven packs and two Tyrunt MEP070 promos, one stamped; release 27 March 2026.
Checked 5 September 2026. Impulse's RM549 Mega Evolution tile shows both artworks but does not establish that the price buys a pair. Box mascots do not guarantee their chase cards; the photographed copy still needs an edition and seal check.
Chaos Rising and Pitch Black — standard ETBs and stamped editions
OfficialRecorded 2026-09-05
Chaos Rising ETBs launched 22 May 2026. Standard contents are nine packs and ordinary Fennekin MEP080; Pokémon Center contents are eleven packs and two Fennekin promos, one stamped. The standard Pitch Black ETB launched 17 July 2026 and contains nine packs plus ordinary Zarude MEP088. Impulse's Chaos standard/PC prices were RM349/RM949.
Contents checked 5 September 2026; prices were photographed 4 September. The RM600 Chaos upgrade buys edition differences, two extra packs and an additional promo, not a proven RM600 card. Accessories are not assumed resale credits.
Ascended, Prismatic, Destined and Twilight ETB promos
OfficialRecorded 2026-09-05
These standard ETBs each contain nine packs and one ordinary promo: Ascended Heroes N's Zekrom MEP031, released 20 February 2026; Prismatic Eevee SVP173, 17 January 2025; Destined Rivals Team Rocket's Wobbuffet SVP203, 30 May 2025; Twilight Masquerade Teal Mask Ogerpon SVP123, 24 May 2024.
Checked 5 September 2026. Ascended's ETB date differs from the expansion debut. The Twilight photographed edition requires confirmation. Ordinary Eevee 173 is not a Pokémon Center-stamped copy or the premium collection's Eevee 174; Wobbuffet is not a Kanto species.
Malaysian ETB comparisons — observed prices and stock limits
RetailerRecorded 2026-09-05
On 5 September 2026, Lucky Seven's exact Chaos Rising PC page showed RM599 with Add to Cart, versus Impulse's photographed RM949. Its catalogue listed Phantasmal RM699, Pitch RM349, Ascended RM699, Prismatic RM699 and Destined RM549. MY HOBBY Twilight showed RM650 with Add to Cart; its selected Mega Lucario variant was RM600, sold out. Card Master Club showed Phantasmal at RM700.
Lucky Seven's Chaos page also retained a generic preorder link. Individual stock was not checked for its catalogue rows. Checkout, delivery and authenticity were not verified. The RM350 Chaos difference is a comparison lead, not a confirmed deliverable bargain or nationwide minimum.
Ordinary Alakazam, Riolu and Eevee ETB promo values
MarketRecorded 2026-09-05
Selected English raw near-mint reported records were Alakazam MEP009 US$8 on 2 September and US$9 on 1 September; Riolu MEP010 US$9.40 on 2 September and US$13.04 on 4 September; Eevee SVP173 US$12 on 2 September and US$13.19 on 28 August. All dates are 2026.
Reviewed 5 September. The reports were screened for printing and condition labels, but individual photographs and payments were not authenticated. They are ordinary promos, not stamped editions, and do not establish local buyback or full-box values.
Gross opening-cost arithmetic for displays and ETBs
CalculationRecorded 2026-09-05
From the September 4 prices, the English 151 bundle allocates RM141.50 per pack; Chaos 36-pack display RM24.97; Pitch 36-pack display RM21.36 and 18-pack half RM22.17. Two Pitch halves cost RM29 more than a full display. Standard ETB allocations include Mega RM61, Phantasmal RM72.11, Chaos RM38.78, Pitch RM49.89 and Prismatic RM88.78 per pack; PC Perfect RM68.09 and Chaos RM86.27.
Calculated 5 September 2026. These are gross price allocations before valuing fixed cards, accessories or packaging, not net pack prices or expected card returns. They inherit each price and edition caveat; different languages and pack sizes are not interchangeable.

How fresh were the Hobby Town comparison prices?
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-05
The Hobby Town comparisons retrieved on 5 September 2026 were cached pages, not a live inventory check. The catalogue and Pitch Black page were marked as crawled that day; the Chaos Rising page was two days old and retained a 2 September shipping countdown. First Partner Series 2 price and stock were visible only in the catalogue.
Treat RM749.95 Pitch Black, RM749.95 Chaos Rising and RM199.95 Series 2 as dated comparison leads. None establishes present checkout availability or fulfilment.
45
Prismatic Mini Tins — two packs, coin and art insert
OfficialRecorded 2026-09-05
Prismatic Evolutions Mini Tins launched 7 February 2025. Each contains two Prismatic boosters, one Eevee coin in one of eight colours, and an art card. Eight tin-art designs form a larger illustration. Impulse's advertised eight-tin RM999 display provides sixteen packs.
Checked 5 September 2026 against September 4 store evidence. No playable Eeveelution promo, valuable pull, full set of coin colours or solid-metal coin material is guaranteed. The tin launch is separate from the expansion's January debut.
The red-and-black artwork strongly matches a Paradox Rift Roaring Moon Elite Trainer Box; its tag appeared RM549 through glare. If standard, it has nine packs and ordinary Scream Tail SVP065. The Pokémon Center edition instead has eleven packs and two promos, one stamped. The product launched 3 November 2023.
Photographed 4 September and reviewed 5 September 2026. The lower name and edition were obscured, so standard contents are conditional. Scream Tail is not Jigglypuff, and neither edition guarantees a Roaring Moon chase card.
Chinese First Partner Vol.2 — Totodile art does not select the promo
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-05
Impulse's RM49 Totodile-art hanger is Simplified Chinese First Partner Vol.2. It contains one random illustration promo from nine equally produced Johto, Unova and Galar starter designs, a magnetic acrylic frame and one five-card Stellar Crystal pack. Totodile006/30th-P is not guaranteed and there are no Kanto promo outcomes. Released on 19 June 2026.
The shelf offer is dated 4 September; official contents were checked on 5 September 2026, when the product was 2 months 17 days old. It differs from the English three-promo collection and the Chinese Vol.3 hanger. Current stock and the particular copy's seals were not checked.
Chinese Totodile006/30th-P — condition-matched asking evidence
MarketRecorded 2026-09-05
On 5 September 2026, Cardmarket showed near-mint asks from €13.99 for Chinese Totodile006/30th-P, with another near-mint offer at €14. The displayed thirty-day average was €16.38. The €4.99 headline belonged to a played card with a bent corner and was excluded. A prior-week Malaysian Pokehunt listing asked RM49.90 for the complete Vol.2 hanger, close to Impulse's RM49 shelf offer.
Foreign asks and platform averages are not Malaysian net resale or authenticated paid receipts. The Malaysian listing was dated search evidence, not verified checkout. Mixed graded-card and trio records were not used to value a single raw card.
Mega Charizard Ultra-Premium Collection — exact guaranteed contents
OfficialRecorded 2026-09-05
Impulse's 4 September 2026 offer was RM1,099. The English collection fixes Mega Charizard X ex MEP023 and Oricorio ex MEP024, with eighteen boosters, 65 sleeves, a playmat, deck box, metal coin, six damage-counter dice and a Live code. It launched 14 November 2025.
Contents checked 5 September 2026. The manufacturer does not promise eighteen Phantasmal Flames packs or a universal batch mix. MEP023 is not the tin's MEP029 or an expansion chase printing. The actual copy's condition remains unverified.
Prismatic Super-Premium Collection — Eevee 174 and fifteen packs
OfficialRecorded 2026-09-05
Impulse's 4 September 2026 offer was RM1,199. The English Prismatic Super-Premium Collection includes fixed Eevee ex SVP174, fifteen Prismatic boosters, a fuzzy Eevee deck box, playmat, 65 sleeves and a Live code. It launched 16 May 2025.
Checked 5 September 2026. Eevee 174 is not the ordinary or Pokémon Center-stamped ETB promo 173, nor a Chinese Eevee-family printing. Eevee is Kanto, but the expansion pool spans generations. The packaging does not guarantee chase cards or authenticate this copy.
On 5 September 2026, the Charizard UPC was RM999 SOLD OUT at TCG Malaysia and RM1,170 SOLD OUT at MyGunpla. Hobby Town showed RM1,299.95 with Last stock/Add to Cart. Prismatic Super-Premium was RM900 SOLD OUT at MY HOBBY; Luludemon's exact English collection showed RM1,700 with Add to Cart, quantity unstated.
These were observed product-page states, without checkout or fulfilment verification. Impulse's dated RM1,099/RM1,199 offers were below the particular available-looking alternatives, not proven Malaysia-wide lows.
The complete Simplified Chinese Bulbasaur Collect151 First Partner Premium Gift contains one fixed Bulbasaur097/SV-P illustration promo, sixty-four sleeves, storage box with two dividers and six twenty-card Collect151 Surprise packs. It launched on 17 October 2025. This is not the random Chinese Bulbasaur001/30th-P promo or an English First Partner collection. Impulse's price was unreadable.
Official and matching retailer contents were checked on 5 September 2026, when the product was 10 months 19 days old. The green gift's identity is strong, but full sealed completeness was not authenticated. A partly hidden blue gift's exact identity, contents and price remain unconfirmed.
For the exact Simplified Chinese Bulbasaur097/SV-P, Cardmarket showed raw near-mint asks of €27, €27.99 and €28 on 5 September 2026. Its displayed trend was €31.63 and thirty-day average €30.57, but those aggregates were not established as a raw-near-mint-only sales sample. This printing is distinct from Chinese Bulbasaur001/30th-P and English 151 Bulbasaur166.
The asking offers were inspected directly. Graded cards and multi-card lots found in other price summaries were excluded from single-card valuation. These are foreign asks, not Malaysian cash-out guarantees or proof that the complete gift pays for itself.
Bulbasaur complete gift — Malaysian offer versus accessories only
RetailerRecorded 2026-09-05
Hobitrade's exact complete Bulbasaur Collect151 gift page showed RM900, one in stock and an Add to cart option on 5 September 2026. It specified Bulbasaur097/SV-P, sleeves and the Surprise pack display. A separate RM55 accessory listing supplied only storage and sleeves, not the complete gift. Other lower-price catalogue or marketplace leads had unresolved variants or stock.
Checkout and fulfilment were not tested. Impulse's photographed price remained unreadable, so no store discount or premium can be calculated. The independent RM900 offer is a dated listing, not a current-stock promise; unrelated copied retailer metadata was not relied upon.
Pokénade Pokémon Friends Poké Ball — electronic toy, not cards
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-05
Impulse's photographed RM229 product is Takara Tomy's Pokénade / Pokémon Friends Poké Ball, JAN4904810958734. It is an LCD virtual-pet toy with selectable English/Japanese play, 157 Pokémon, unit and manual, and four AAA alkaline batteries required separately. It contains no TCG cards or boosters. Released on 11 October 2025.
Official specifications checked on 5 September 2026, when it was 10 months 25 days old; shelf price observed on 4 September. This is not a pouch bundle or a different toy edition. Physical working condition was not tested, and its value is not a raw-card investment comparison.
Chinese First Partner Vol.1 — random promo despite Bulbasaur wrapper
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-05
Impulse's RM49 Bulbasaur-art hanger is Simplified Chinese First Partner Vol.1, released on 20 March 2026. It supplies one random promo from nine equally produced Kanto, Sinnoh and Alola starter designs, a magnetic acrylic frame and one five-card Dazzling Illusions pack. Three designs are Kanto; Bulbasaur001/30th-P is not guaranteed. It is not the large fixed097/SV-P gift.
The shelf offer is dated 4 September; official contents and matching sealed-package wording were checked on 5 September 2026, when the product was 5 months 16 days old. Only explicit confirmation of an opened, species-selected item would support a fixed-Bulbasaur claim.
Chinese Bulbasaur001/30th-P — single and complete hanger offers
MarketRecorded 2026-09-05
Cardmarket showed multiple raw near-mint asks from €11 for Chinese Bulbasaur001/30th-P on 5 September 2026, with a €11.53 trend and €13.02 thirty-day average. Luludemon's exact Chinese Vol.1 hanger page showed RM50 and Add to cart. Impulse's RM49 shelf offer is close to that local asking level, not proof of a bargain for a guaranteed Bulbasaur.
The EU figures are foreign asks and aggregates, not audited paid sales or Malaysian net cash-out. The local purchase was not taken through checkout. A grading certificate was used only to corroborate printing identity, not to transfer a slab value to the raw card.
Flareon and Umbreon accessory gifts — no separate fixed promo
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-05
Impulse's Flareon and Umbreon Collectible Accessories Gift Boxes were RM89 each on 4 September 2026. Each complete gift contains two ten-card Terastal Gathering packs, a matching damage-counter storage box and metal magnet, with no separately included fixed promo. Released on 12 June 2026. The Flareon or Umbreon theme does not guarantee that species among the random booster cards.
Clear labels and official contents were reviewed on 5 September 2026. Hidden and super-hidden percentages refer to accessory designs, not card-hit rates. These differ from the RM99 random matching-foil pendant gift and the species-matched coin sets; individual sealed completeness remains unverified.
Impulse displayed English 151 Machamp and Scyther tin fronts at RM299 each on 4 September 2026. The matching designs are Machamp/Cubone and Scyther/Weezing. Each complete tin has two English 151 boosters, an Energy-symbol coin and an art card, with no fixed playable mascot promo. Mini tins launched 6 October 2023.
Contents checked 5 September. Companion Pokémon were partly hidden, and seals, dents and batch details were not authenticated. The tin date differs from the September 22 bundle release. Different tin artwork does not establish different pull odds.
English 151 tins — unavailable alternatives and bundle arithmetic
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-05
Research on 5 September 2026 found MY HOBBY's RM150 tin offer sold out in a roughly four-week-old snapshot, and Ace's RM85 offer sold out in cached catalogue/product pages. The photographed RM299 tin allocates RM149.50 per pack. Three tins cost RM897 for six packs, RM48 above the RM849 six-pack bundle.
No cheaper currently buyable exact tin was verified. Arithmetic ignores the value of tins, coins and art inserts. The retained US$425 near-mint-title English Charizard 199 transaction dated 1 September is a possible-card example, not a new price check or guaranteed tin return.
Prismatic individual tins — RM139 versus the display offer
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-05
Impulse's Flareon and Espeon Prismatic tins were RM139 each on 4 September 2026. Each has two boosters, a coin and art insert, with no fixed playable Eeveelution. RM139 allocates RM69.50 per pack; eight individual tins total RM1,112, RM113 above the advertised RM999 eight-tin display. Mini tins launched 7 February 2025.
Reviewed 5 September. The display requires buying eight tins and its continuing availability was not established. MY HOBBY's RM170 individual reference was sold out in an older snapshot. The expensive English Umbreon 161 is a random possibility, not an included promo or the Chinese 239 printing.
Ogerpon-themed boxes — complete gift versus storage remains unresolved
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-05
Visible Wellspring Mask and Cornerstone Mask titles match Simplified Chinese Ogerpon gift/storage boxes. If complete retail gifts, they contain three twenty-card Dazzling Illusions packs, three twenty-card Stellar Crystal packs, one five-card Kitakami-themed pack, sleeves, dice, magnet and storage accessories. The themed pack's specified card types do not guarantee rare illustration artwork. Released on 15 May 2026.
Reviewed on 5 September 2026. Only lids were visible; complete gift contents, seals and price could not be established. The objects may be storage containers rather than complete gifts. No dependable Malaysian exact-product price or purchase rank was assigned.
The white-and-blue headers match Japanese MEGA Start Deck100 Battle Collection, not the Traditional Chinese edition. Each product contains one random sixty-card constructed deck, damage markers and at least two Pokémon ex; the name does not mean one hundred cards or boosters. Released on 19 December 2025. RM129 comes from an earlier Impulse shelf observation, not the later unreadable tag.
Checked on 5 September 2026, when the product was 8 months 17 days old. The RM189 MYHOBBY reference was a month-old sold-out listing, not current buyable stock. A broader card pool does not guarantee the character shown on the packaging or a valuable chase.
The photographed Impulse Gaming Pitch Black Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box was RM729 on 4 September. The ordinary Pitch Black ETB was RM449. Visible Pokémon Center logos and artwork distinguish the editions; multiple photographed copies do not establish an audited stock count.
Retained September 2026 observations; no September 19 price or stock refresh. Original private photographs and research are retained locally.

Pitch Black PC and Perfect Order — verified edition differences
OfficialRecorded 2026-09-07
Pitch Black Pokémon Center ETB contains eleven packs and two Zarude MEP088 promos, one ordinary and one stamped, plus 65 sleeves and play/storage extras. It released 17 July 2026, 1 month 21 days before 7 September. Standard Perfect Order has nine packs and ordinary Tyrunt MEP070; its PC version has eleven packs and an additional stamped promo. Both released 27 March 2026, 5 months 11 days earlier.
Checked 7 September 2026. There is no guaranteed Darkrai chase card. The photographed standard Perfect Order price remains provisional; exact edition, condition and stock still need checking. These dates concern products, not the manufacture of the photographed boxes.
A read-only 7 September check of Lucky Seven’s exact Pitch Black Pokémon Center ETB recorded RM799 and a single variant marked available. No checkout or dispatch was verified. The Impulse photograph’s RM729 was RM70 below that dated ask. Availability is disclosed separately from the purchase score.
Retained September 2026 observations; no September 19 price or stock refresh. Original private photographs and research are retained locally.
Tohoku and Fukuoka gifts — fixed Pikachu, no boosters
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-04, 2026-09-07
Impulse's September 4 offers were Tohoku RM799 and apparent Fukuoka RM1,119. Each complete Japanese gift fixes one Pikachu foil, 64 sleeves, a deck case and long storage box; there are zero boosters. Tohoku is 260/SV-P; Fukuoka 289/SV-P. Official listed product dates are 20 June 2025 and 11 July 2025: 1 year 2 months 18 days and 1 year 1 month 27 days before 7 September 2026.
Contents and dated listings checked 7 September. The listed dates are not independently established first deliveries, and the earlier lottery opening was not a shipping date. Confirm Fukuoka's small price tag and the complete sealed gift; a single wrapped promo is a different product.
Regional Pikachu boxes — additional production announced
OfficialRecorded 2026-03-13, 2026-09-07
Pokémon's 13 March 2026 notice announced additional production and sales of Tohoku, Hiroshima and Fukuoka Special Boxes, with further production according to demand. Regional branding therefore does not establish fixed supply or protection from reprints. Fukuoka's supporting artwork includes Latias and Latios; its fixed Pikachu remains a Kanto character.
The notice and artwork were checked 7 September 2026. This is a production statement, not an appreciation forecast, guaranteed availability or authentication of an individual retail copy.
Regional Pikachu singles — raw asking prices, not complete boxes
MarketRecorded 2026-09-07
On 7 September 2026, exact Japanese Tohoku 260 near-mint raw asks were €80/€82, or €84.99/€85 for individually wrapped promos. Fukuoka 289 individually wrapped near-mint asks were €94.99/€95/€99.99, with an ordinary raw near-mint offer at €100.
These are selected seller asks for single cards, not whole gifts, paid transactions or Malaysian bids. Graded slabs also appeared among the platform's near-mint listings, so aggregate trend figures were not adopted as clean raw-card valuations. Condition and settlement were not independently authenticated.
HeavyArm's complete Japanese Tohoku and Fukuoka Special Boxes were RM889 and RM979 on 7 September 2026, both explicitly BACKORDER despite Add to Cart. Impulse's dated Tohoku RM799 is RM90 lower; apparent Fukuoka RM1,119 would be RM140 higher.
Backorder is not ready stock. The comparisons do not establish the cheapest deliverable purchase, and Fukuoka's Impulse tag still needs confirmation. Checkout, dispatch and actual copy condition were not verified; multi-box lots are different quantities.
Impulse Chinese boxes — newly readable prices and separate formats
ObservationRecorded 2026-09-04, 2026-09-07
The 4 September 2026 shelf prices include Traditional Chinese Abyss Eye RM249, Simplified Chinese Blade Awakening slim RM199, Stellar Crystal slim RM119, apparent RM399 Terastal Gathering and Gem Pack Vol.2 RM359. Stellar's twenty-card jumbo box price is unreadable. The blue Sylveon Gem2 box is not a 151 product. Other repeated offers were Clefable tin RM159, Gem3 box RM449, Primordial Overgrow RM179 and Chasing Glory RM249.
Original Impulse Gaming photographs were reviewed on 7 September and are retained on file. Abyss Eye's five-card packs do not resolve its box count. The apparent Terastal tag, exact sealed contents and current stock require confirmation; language editions cannot share card-price assumptions.
Gem Pack Vol.2 — connected illustrations are possible pulls
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-07
Simplified Chinese Gem Pack Vol.2 CBB2C contains fifteen four-card random foil packs. Three cards use circle/diamond rarity and the fourth star/double/triple-star; an illustration rare is not guaranteed. The connected illustrations are Eevee CBB2C01 15/15, Leafeon CBB2C07 15/15, Sylveon CBB2C09 15/15 and Umbreon CBB2C06 15/15. The RM359 shelf offer is RM23.93 per pack. Released on 16 May 2025; 1 year 3 months 22 days old on 7 September 2026.
Pack, date and artwork details were checked on 7 September; the shelf price is from 4 September. Eevee is Gen1, while the other three connected-art species are later generations. Other Gen1 Eeveelutions occur in the set, but it is not all-Kanto and foreign card asks do not establish a box's return.
Chinese Eevee, Pikachu and Greninja — exact-printing asking snapshots
MarketRecorded 2026-09-07
Dated Cardmarket search snapshots showed near-mint asks of €64.98/€65/€65 for Gem2 Eevee illustration CBB2C01 15/15 on 6 September, €220/€220/€260 for Stellar Crystal Pikachu ex SAR245/208 on 7 September, and €114.98/€114.99/€115 for Blade Awakening Greninja ex SAR242/204 on 7 September 2026. These differ from ordinary Eevee 13/15, gold Pikachu260 and Greninja RR123 or SR223.
Accessed on 7 September; the direct product pages could not be inspected. These are indexed foreign seller asks, not verified payments or Malaysian cash bids. Pikachu had only five listed offers in the snapshot. Mixed graded-card price summaries were excluded, and no profitable-opening model was established.
September 4 prices were Ruler of the Black Flame SV3 RM649, Abyss Eye M5 RM329, Storm Emeralda M6 RM549 and Mega Dream ex M2a RM499. Japanese 151 was RM1,999 and Mega Brave RM349. Mega Symphonia's RM349 comes from an earlier view of the same visit. SV3's standard box has thirty five-card packs and released 28 July 2023.
Reviewed 7 September 2026. Abyss Eye is RM329, not RM229; Mega Dream is a booster box, not a deck or ETB. Repeated views do not create independent price samples. Earlier Charizard 134/Pidgeot 136 monetary evidence was not refreshed by this price clarification.
Japanese Abyss Eye, Storm Emeralda and Mega Dream box formats
OfficialRecorded 2026-09-07
Abyss Eye M5 has thirty five-card packs, released 22 May 2026, 3 months 16 days before 7 September. Storm Emeralda M6 has thirty five-card packs, released 31 July 2026, 1 month 7 days earlier. Mega Dream ex M2a has ten ten-card packs, released 28 November 2025, 9 months 10 days earlier. Official box pages list Japan as origin.
Checked 7 September 2026. Later order or lottery windows are not original launches. Box artwork does not guarantee Darkrai, Rayquaza or Dragonite. These are mixed-generation products, and official origin specifications do not authenticate a photographed copy.
Japanese Darkrai, Rayquaza and Dragonite — exact rare printings
MarketRecorded 2026-09-07
Selected reported raw near-mint records were Abyss Mega Darkrai ex SAR114/081 US$155 on 6 September and US$176.99 on 2 September 2026; Storm Mega Rayquaza ex MUR113/076 US$600 and US$699.15 on 4 September; Mega Dream Mega Dragonite ex SAR246/193 US$181 on 6 September and US$171.99 on 4 September.
Reviewed 7 September 2026. Dented listings, slabs, other languages and mixed raw-price headlines were excluded. These remain secondary reported transactions, not authenticated payments, Malaysian net proceeds or expected box returns. Dragonite SAR246 is not gold MUR250 or English 290.
Lillie Premium Tournament Collection — fixed Clefairy, not the chase printing
Research
Impulse's photographed Lillie Premium Tournament Collection has an apparent RM309 tag. Its known contents include Lillie's Clefairy ex SVP195, three foil Lillie's Pearl cards, six ordinary boosters, 65 sleeves and themed play accessories. The retailer-supported release date is 25 April 2025: 1 year 4 months 13 days old on 7 September 2026.
Confirm the small price tag, actual box condition and pack mix. SVP195 is not Journey Together special illustration rare 184/159. Contents and release information were supported by retailer records; an accessible manufacturer page was not obtained.
Lillie collection — dated card and Malaysian price comparisons
MarketRecorded 2026-09-07
Exact Clefairy SVP195 reported near-mint records included US$18 and US$18.99 on 5 September 2026 and US$13.70 on 2 September. On 7 September, MYU's two-day-old listing showed the collection at RM349 with two in stock and Add to cart. RM299 MYHOBBY and iGamez listings were sold out. Impulse's apparent RM309 would be RM40 below the dated MYU ask.
Reported card transactions were not independently authenticated. Retailer availability was cached, and the photographed RM309 still needs confirmation. This is neither a Malaysian cash-out valuation nor proof the fixed promo recovers the collection price.
Impulse display and bundle prices — what the wider shelf view resolves
ObservationRecorded 2026-09-04
The 4 September 2026 Impulse shelf shows Journey Together RM1299, Twilight Masquerade RM1799 and Stellar Crown RM1299; their actual count panels remain unseen. Other offers are Pitch Black full RM769 and half RM399, Temporal Forces RM749, Paradox Rift 18-pack half RM799, and six-pack bundles: 151 RM849, Destined Rivals RM349, Prismatic Evolutions RM449 and Ascended Heroes RM449.
Journey's standard/enhanced edition and Temporal's proposed 18-pack count remain unconfirmed. Pink Ascended Heroes ten-bundle displays have no readable price; their generic side artwork is not evidence of repacking. Repeated Zygarde RM369, Chinese Tactics RM79 and other products are not independent stock or market observations.

Impulse hanging products — individual packs and small gifts
ObservationRecorded 2026-09-04
Impulse's 4 September 2026 hanging display shows an English Pitch Black sleeved booster at RM23 and Twilight Masquerade at RM50; the Destined Rivals price is obscured. The Simplified Chinese Fearless Terastal pack is RM18. Flareon and Espeon coin sets and the Collect151 puzzle-magnet set are RM49 each.
These are individual named products, not prices for neighbouring hooks or an entire display. A pack's wrapper artwork does not guarantee that Pokémon's valuable card. Exact gift contents must be distinguished from sleeves and other protection accessories.
81
Fearless Terastal — five-card packs and Arcanine155/130
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-07
Simplified Chinese Fearless Terastal packs contain five random cards including one foil. Released on 16 May 2025; 1 year 3 months 22 days old on 7 September 2026. Its exact Arcanine ex SAR155/130 had indexed near-mint asks of €320, €339.99 and €340 on 7 September. Arcanine is a Gen1 card target, but the expansion is mixed-generation and a RM18 pack does not guarantee it.
Official format/date information supports the product identification. The card's direct page could not be inspected: the prices are dated foreign search snapshots, not verified paid sales or Malaysian bids. No pull-probability or expected-return model was established.
Flareon and Espeon coin sets — matching foil, unresolved printing
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-07
Impulse's RM49 Flareon and RM49 Espeon coin sets each include a matching species foil, one ten-card Terastal Gathering pack and a coin. Released on 12 June 2026; 2 months 26 days old on 7 September. The included foil's exact number, finish and monetary value remain unresolved, so chase-card or exclusive-gift promo prices cannot be substituted. Flareon is Gen1; Espeon is Gen2.
Official contents were checked on 7 September 2026; the shelf prices are from 4 September. The stated one-percent secret-gold-coin chance concerns the accessory, not a rare card. These card-containing coin sets are distinct from the RM89 accessory gifts with no separate fixed promo.
Collect151 puzzle-magnet set — one Journey pack, not a fixed card
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-07
The RM49 Simplified Chinese Collect151 puzzle-fridge-magnet set contains one random magnet from 151 designs and one five-card Journey booster. Released on 17 January 2025; 1 year 7 months 21 days old on 7 September 2026. Packaging starters and Pikachu are not fixed playable cards. Possible Journey Pikachu AR170/151 had indexed near-mint asks of €550, €575.99 and €600 on 7 September, but no firm raw-card valuation was established.
The shelf offer is dated 4 September. Thin, dispersed foreign asks are not Malaysian cash bids or proof that a pack repays its price. A price summary mixing graded cards was rejected. This Journey printing's value must not be assigned to other Collect151 waves' different Pikachu illustrations.
Impulse sleeves and binders — visible quantities and limits
ObservationRecorded 2026-09-04
The 4 September 2026 Impulse display includes Pokémon Deck Shield packs of 64 sleeves at RM39, Clear3dge packs of 50 standard-size sleeves at RM15, and several One Piece sleeve designs at RM39. Clear3dge nine-pocket side-loading binders and other storage products are also visible, but several prices and capacities remain unreadable.
Sleeves, binders and deck storage do not contain Pokémon cards. Exact art editions are not fully resolved, so another store's differently illustrated sleeve pack is not automatically the same product. Their exclusion from card rankings does not deny their protective utility.

What still needs confirmation in the Impulse photographs
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-07
The Impulse photographs were reviewed, but concealed products and tags are not all resolved. Confirm apparent prices for Fukuoka RM1119, standard Perfect Order RM449, Lillie RM309 and Terastal Gathering RM399; also check display counts, Journey's enhanced status, the Traditional Chinese Abyss Eye box count, hidden single-pack prices and pink display prices.
The audit was completed on 7 September 2026 using 4 September photographs. Cropped gifts, hidden accessory models, barcodes, rear seals and every copy's condition remain outstanding. Completing a photo review is not certifying every SKU, stock quantity or purchase.

Universal Gaming — English sleeved booster prices
ObservationRecorded 2026-09-04, 2026-09-07
Universal Gaming's 4 September 2026 photograph shows Silver Tempest RM59, Chaos Rising RM49, Pitch Black RM49, Surging Sparks RM45, Paradox Rift RM45 and Scarlet & Violet base RM45. Each is one sleeved random booster with no fixed promo. Journey Together's tag is hidden by security hardware.
The central RM39 sign belongs to Spider-Man, not Pokémon. Prices were matched to their own hooks and cannot be extended to adjacent products. The photograph does not establish present stock, seal integrity or pull outcomes.
87
English expansion releases — dated calendar context
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-07
Silver Tempest released 11 November 2022; Surging Sparks 8 November 2024; Paradox Rift 3 November 2023; Scarlet & Violet 31 March 2023. Ages on 7 September 2026 are 3y9m27d, 1y9m30d, 2y10m4d and 3y5m7d respectively.
Expansion dates are not proof of the manufacture date of an individual photographed pack.
Exact English Pikachu and Lugia — dated reported card transactions
MarketRecorded 2026-09-07
Selected English near-mint TCGplayer records reported by PriceCharting were: Surging Sparks Pikachu ex SIR238/191, US$317.67 on 1 September 2026 and US$282.10 on 31 August; Silver Tempest Lugia V alternate-art186/195, US$524.94 on 1 September and US$580.33 on 30 August.
Research access was 7 September, not the transaction date. Misleading and graded records elsewhere in the histories were excluded. Payments and card condition were not independently authenticated; these are not Malaysian bids, a fair-value range or guaranteed booster contents.
Exact English Roaring Moon and Slowpoke — dated reported card examples
MarketRecorded 2026-09-07
Selected reported English near-mint records were Paradox Rift Roaring Moon ex SIR251/182 at US$38 on 2 September 2026 and US$37.45 on 31 August; Scarlet & Violet Slowpoke IR204/198 at US$38.99 and US$39.99 on 1 September. The first three were TCGplayer records and the last an eBay near-mint listing record.
Inspected on 7 September. These secondary reports were not independently authenticated and are not a complete market survey or opening-return model. Exact singles avoid the uncertainty of pulling that printing, but shipping, condition and selling costs still matter.
Correction — Universal Binacle is a three-pack blister
Research
Universal's RM129 Pitch Black Binacle blister contains THREE boosters, not two. The visible packs and matching retailer product descriptions support the count. It fixes Binacle MEP087 Smooth Cosmos Holo and includes a code. Release was 17 July 2026, making it 1 month 21 days old on 7 September.
This corrects the earlier photograph interpretation. The shelf offer dates to 4 September 2026. No accessible manufacturer-owned exact-blister page was obtained, and the photograph does not authenticate the actual seals.
Universal Golduck blister — three Mega Evolution packs
Research
The Universal RM249 blister fixes Golduck MEP008 Pixel Cosmos Holo and contains three Mega Evolution boosters plus a code. It is not the previously described Psyduck product. Released 26 September 2025, it was 11 months 12 days old on 7 September 2026. Golduck is a known Kanto card, but the booster pool is mixed-generation.
The offer was photographed on 4 September. The rear RM149 tag belongs to an obscured different blister and cannot be assigned to this product. This ordinary fixed foil is not an illustration-rare Golduck; package seals and present stock remain unverified.
Universal White Flare Tech Sticker Collection — Gothitelle SVP211
Research
Universal's photographed RM299 White Flare Tech Sticker Collection contains fixed Gothitelle SVP211, three White Flare boosters, an evolution-chain sticker sheet and a code. It is not the Black Bolt/Reuniclus variant. Released 1 August 2025, it was 1 year 1 month 6 days old on 7 September 2026.
This is a Gen5-themed collecting option, not a dedicated Gen1 product. The 4 September price and visible packaging do not certify current stock, promo condition or a valuable pull from the random packs.
Chinese Mega Tactics decks — conditional cross-store comparison
Observation
Universal's photographed Traditional Chinese Mega Tactics decks closely match the 2026 editions at Impulse. Dragonite, Sharpedo and Charizard X tags read RM159; Gardevoir's upper tag appears RM159. Impulse's offers were RM79, making a conditional RM80 difference per matching deck. Folded headers do not establish a premium second edition or extra contents.
The 4 September 2026 photographs were compared on 7 September. Original photographs are retained on file. Art, HP, colour panels and branding support the visual match, but barcodes, backs, seals and current prices still need confirmation. The Gardevoir price remains provisional.
Traditional Chinese Mega Tactics — fixed deck printings
OfficialRecorded 2026-09-07
Each Traditional Chinese Mega Tactics product contains a fixed sixty-card deck, marker sheet, paper half-playmat and tactics guide, with no random boosters or SAR slot. Headline copies are Dragonite 2×MTKF008/023, Sharpedo 3×MTHF003/020, Charizard X 3×MTLF003/023 and Gardevoir 2×MTSF004/023. Released on 17 July 2026; 1 month 21 days old on 7 September. Charizard and Dragonite are Kanto character lines in mixed-generation decks.
Official lists were checked on 7 September 2026. Earlier retailer asks of HK$40 for Charizard and HK$20 for the other headlines remain dated 5 September, not refreshed prices. No exact whole-deck net-resale value was established, and language alone is not a disqualification.
Kangaskhan ex Battle Deck — one known promo, no boosters
Research
Universal's RM79 Kangaskhan ex Battle Deck contains a fixed 60-card deck including ONE Kangaskhan ex SVP055, plus play accessories and a code. There are no boosters. Released 6 October 2023, it was 2 years 11 months 1 day old on 7 September 2026.
The price was photographed on 4 September. SVP055 is not the 151 ordinary 115/165, full-art190/165 or a Mega Kangaskhan. Known Kanto-card collecting is distinct from competitive utility and from a complete original-151 collection.
Ninetales ex Deluxe Battle Deck — three ordinary Ninetales cards
Research
Universal's RM149 Ninetales ex Deluxe Battle Deck contains 60 fixed cards, including THREE ordinary Ninetales ex MEW038/165, with play accessories and no boosters. It is not full-art186/165. Released 22 March 2024, it was 2 years 5 months 16 days old on 7 September 2026.
The photographed offer dates to 4 September. The deck includes later-generation supporting Pokémon as well as Kanto species. The three-copy count follows the deck-list table and official three-foil description, not a conflicting generic two-copy introduction.
Kangaskhan and Ninetales — exact near-mint marketplace metrics
MarketRecorded 2026-09-07
Live TCGplayer English near-mint holofoil metrics on 7 September 2026 were US$8.48 for Kangaskhan SVP055 and US$2.32 for Ninetales MEW038/165. Visible offers shipping to Malaysia were US$11.47 plus US$9.99 postage and US$4.97 plus US$9.99 respectively. Three Ninetales market metrics total US$6.96, not the value of the whole deck.
These are platform metrics and asking prices, not independently authenticated paid transactions or local buyback bids. Undated latest-sale labels were not assigned dates. The selected Ninetales condition was near mint; lightly played prices were excluded. Postage can overwhelm a cheap single.
Kangaskhan and Ninetales — cheaper Malaysian listings were sold out
RetailerRecorded 2026-09-07
On 7 September 2026, the selected MYHOBBY Kangaskhan Battle Deck variant at RM70 and Ninetales Deluxe variant at RM119 both showed SOLD OUT. Universal's photographed RM79 and RM149 offers were RM9 and RM30 above those unavailable asks.
Exact variants and stock labels were checked. No cheaper currently buyable equivalent, checkout fulfilment or profitable whole-deck card valuation was established. Sold-out prices are comparison history, not alternatives a reader can presently purchase.
Fukuoka Special Box — fixed Pikachu and qualified store comparisons
Research
Box Hunt's RM1199 Fukuoka gift fixes Japanese Pikachu289/SV-P and includes 64 sleeves, a deck case and storage box, with ZERO boosters. Impulse's apparent RM1119 would be RM80 lower if confirmed. HeavyArm's RM979 comparison was BACKORDER. The official listed date is 11 July 2025, 1 year 1 month 27 days before 7 September 2026.
Shelf prices date to 4 September. The listed date is not independently proved first delivery. Card-only wrapped near-mint asks from €94.99 are not whole-box values or paid sales. Official additional production announced 13 March 2026 prevents assuming fixed supply or guaranteed appreciation.
English151 bundle — matching RM849 offers and six-pack arithmetic
CalculationRecorded 2026-09-07
Impulse and Box Hunt both photographed English 151 six-pack bundles at RM849 on 4 September 2026. Each contains six random boosters, no fixed Mew or starter illustration. RM849/6 is RM141.50 per pack. Six photographed Box Hunt RM150 singles cost RM900, RM51 more. Released 22 September 2023, the bundle was 2 years 11 months 16 days old on 7 September.
One RM150 pack requires less total spending, not less cost per pack or better expected returns. Compare actual complete bundles, seals and current stock. The two probable RM449 Box Hunt bundles remain separate unresolved products.
English display expansions — launch dates and ages
CalculationRecorded 2026-09-07
Ages on 7 September 2026: Mega Evolution, released 26 September 2025, 11m12d; Pitch Black, 17 July 2026, 1m21d; Phantasmal Flames, 14 November 2025, 9m24d; Obsidian Flames, 11 August 2023, 3y27d; Perfect Order, 27 March 2026, 5m11d; Destined Rivals, 30 May 2025, 1y3m8d; Chaos Rising, 22 May 2026, 3m16d; Journey Together, 28 March 2025, 1y5m10d.
These are expansion launches, not separately established first availability of every half-display SKU or manufacture dates. Pokémon owner/operator context is Japan; language and retail country do not authenticate the batch or establish its print origin.
Exact English Darkrai, Charizard and Zygarde — dated reported raw cards
MarketRecorded 2026-09-07
Selected reported English near-mint records: Pitch Black Darkrai116/084 US$196 on 2 September 2026 and US$209.97 on 1 September; Phantasmal Charizard125/094 US$705/749.99 on 3 September and US$728.99 on 2 September; Perfect Order Zygarde120/088 US$54.99 on 1 September and US$50 on 31 August; Obsidian Charizard223/197 US$100 on 2 September.
Inspected 7 September; underlying payment and condition were not independently authenticated. Charizard125 is not fixed UPC023, and Zygarde120 is not collection promo071. Earlier Mewtwo231/182 evidence remains dated to its 5 September research, not a fresh check. These are neither pack expected values nor Malaysian cash-out quotations.
Correction — the RM35 pack is Temporal Forces, not Black Bolt
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-07
The RM35 metallic Iron Crown wrapper at Box Hunt is Temporal Forces. A separate clearly identified English Black Bolt pack is RM85. Wider views also identify the lower RM40 Iron Valiant pack as Paradox Rift. Ascended Heroes RM75, English 151 RM150 and Shrouded Fable RM45 remain valid observed offers.
Corrected on 7 September 2026 using the 4 September photographs and matching wrapper references. Partial logos required an artwork comparison. The previous Black Bolt/RM35 association is withdrawn; independent Zekrom card-price evidence does not describe that Temporal Forces pack.
These are individual random foil boosters, not cardboard sleeves or fixed-promo products. Different wrapper artworks from one expansion do not create new SKUs. Some logos are partial but artwork matches are strong. An unidentified lower RM80 pack and distant obscured products are not assigned names or values.

Ten-card packs were Mega Dream ex M2a, released 28 November 2025, weak apparent RM45; Shiny Treasure ex SV4a, 1 December 2023, RM40; Terastal Festival ex SV8a, 6 December 2024, RM70. Five-card packs were Storm Emeralda M6, 31 July 2026, unreadable price; Stellar Miracle SV7, 19 July 2024, RM22; Night Wanderer SV6a, 7 June 2024, RM12; and Ruler of the Black Flame SV3, 28 July 2023, unreadable price.
Prices were photographed 4 September; official specifications checked 7 September 2026. The lower SV3 pack brings the identified Japanese total to 22 families, including 21 in the main section. Weak tags remain weak and the sets are not interchangeable with their regional printings.
Why ordinary Black Bolt and White Flare are not Deluxe
OfficialRecorded 2026-09-07
The photographed Japanese Black Bolt/White Flare wrappers match ordinary seven-card products, not the separate 35-card Deluxe packs with an AR. That Deluxe guarantee does not transfer to the RM40/RM35 ordinary packs. Mega Dream, Shiny Treasure and Terastal Festival high-class packs contain ten cards, unlike standard five-card products.
Format distinction checked 7 September 2026. Card count, rarity pool, language and pack provenance differ. Gross price per card is not financial return, and whole-box guarantees or promotional campaigns do not automatically apply to one pack from an open display.
Japanese Eevee 078 and Mew 347 — exact raw-card value examples
MarketRecorded 2026-09-07
Crimson Haze Eevee AR078/066 had reported raw near-mint transactions of US$29.99 on 3 September and 31 August 2026. Shiny Treasure Mew ex SAR347/190 had US$425 on 6 September and US$450 on 30 August. These exact Japanese printings are Kanto-card targets within mixed expansions.
Inspected 7 September 2026 with language and condition labels checked. Higher struck-through asking amounts were not used. These are selected reported transactions, not independently authenticated settlement or condition, Malaysian cash values or proof that opening packs is profitable.
Box Hunt's posted loose-pack policy — what it does and does not show
ObservationRecorded 2026-09-04
The photographed notice says a fresh box is opened when the current box has five packs or fewer. Requesting earlier opening requires buying the remaining old-box packs first. Self-selection is allowed, but back inspection or filtering is prohibited.
Notice observed 4 September 2026 and reviewed 7 September. These rules do not prove weighing, tampering, resealing or depleted hits. Ask about provenance and permitted inspection before paying. Factory-box guarantees should not automatically be transferred to one loose pack from a partial display.

Other card franchises at Box Hunt — kept outside Pokémon comparisons
ObservationRecorded 2026-09-04
Readable 4 September 2026 offers include Digimon Final Crest LM08 RM22, Disney CHRONOZ 2026 RM40, Match Attax 2025/26 RM15, Topps Premier League 2026 RM13, English-for-Asia Digimon EX12 RM19, One Piece OP16 RM45 and EB03 RM48, and Hololive RM20 with its exact set hidden. CookieRun RM9 and Ultraman RM12 tags are apparent rather than firm.
Different rear Ultraman stock and cropped One Piece OP14-EB04 were not merged into the front offers. Other One Piece, Dragon Ball, Digimon, Palworld, Hololive and NIKKE products have concealed details. Being outside a Pokémon guide does not mean these cards have no collector value.
110
Other franchises — region and pack-size distinctions
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-07
Japanese Digimon Final Crest LM08 has ten cards per pack and six packs per box. Standard English EX12 has twelve cards per pack; the photographed One Piece OP16/EB03 English-for-Asia wrappers also state twelve, not the Japanese six-card format. Match Attax here is a twelve-card UEFA product, not Premier League. The matching Topps Premier League 2026 Debut packet has ten cards, not the 25-card hobby format.
Checked 7 September 2026. Global English release dates do not automatically establish English-for-Asia launch dates; Final Crest's exact initial event release remains unresolved. The Topps packet release was 7 August 2025. Exact local Disney CHRONOZ contents, launch and realised values were not verified. No other-franchise purchase ranking or expected return was assigned.
Pokénade, cameras and figures — merchandise rather than TCG cards
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-07
The Box Hunt Pokénade toy has an apparent RM249 tag, compared with Impulse's RM229 only if confirmed. The matched Takara Tomy product contains no TCG cards and released 11 October 2025, making it 10 months 27 days old on 7 September 2026. Kodak Charmera products are miniature digital cameras; 1987 is design inspiration, not their manufacture date.
Prices were photographed 4 September 2026. Several nearby Pokémon figures, LCD toys, blind boxes and accessories have unverified makers, editions, contents or prices. Their imagery does not establish licensed authenticity, resale value or a Pokémon card product.
Evidence boundaries — language, price, condition and ownership
JudgementRecorded 2026-09-07
The research keeps collecting purpose, exact-card value, random opening and sealed-object ownership separate. Pokémon owner/operator context is Japan; language does not establish a batch's manufacturing country. Shelf availability photographed 4 September 2026 does not certify 7 September stock, and identifying a product family does not authenticate its seals.
Unreadable codes and prices cannot support a definitive priced score. Old exchange rates were not used for new conversions; graded-card prices were not substituted for raw cards. No future-appreciation or positive-opening-return forecast is established.

Corrected pack identification — English release dates and formats
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-07
The four clarified Box Hunt offers are Temporal Forces RM35, Ascended Heroes RM75, 151 RM150 and Shrouded Fable RM45. Black Bolt is a separate RM85 offer. Expansion dates and ages on 7 September 2026: Temporal, 22 March 2024, 2y 5m 16d; Ascended, 30 January 2026, 7m 8d; 151, 22 September 2023, 2y 11m 16d; Shrouded, 2 August 2024, 2y 1m 5d; Black Bolt, 18 July 2025, 1y 1m 20d.
These are random English ten-card packs, not fixed-promo gifts. Black Bolt and White Flare together cover Unova; Black Bolt alone does not contain the whole region. The former RM35 Zekrom/Black Bolt association is withdrawn, without changing properly identified independent card evidence.
Chinese Collect151 Hope, Surprise and Gathering — distinct waves
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-07
Box Hunt's Simplified Chinese Collect151 Hope/望 has an apparent RM80 tag, Surprise/惊 apparent RM49, and Gathering/聚 an unreadable price. Actual five- versus twenty-card formats remain unresolved. Their launch dates were 18 April 2025, 18 July 2025 and 17 October 2025, respectively 1 year 4 months 20 days, 1 year 1 month 20 days and 10 months 21 days before 7 September 2026. Each has a different Pikachu illustration printing.
Official specifications were reviewed on 7 September; shelf observations are from 4 September. Hope's water/dragon/colorless, Surprise's grass/psychic/darkness and Gathering's fire/lightning/fighting emphasis concerns relative weighting of Poké Ball/Master Ball-pattern cards, not every foil rarity or personal pull odds. Journey170 prices do not value these different Pikachu cards. Separate coin sets and gifts also require their own fixed-versus-random contents checks.

Calendar ages use the named product dates, not manufacture dates. Regional-box listed dates do not establish first delivery. Years, months and days are abbreviated y, m and d.
Based on 4 September photographed offers. Promos and accessories are allocated zero value for this comparison. These are not pull probabilities, expected card returns or evidence that different languages have equivalent contents.
There is no overall winning shop: compare the exact language, edition, format, condition and dated availability. English 151 bundles were RM849 at both Impulse and Box Hunt. Japanese regional gifts supply fixed Pikachu artwork and no boosters. The apparent same-edition Chinese Tactics price difference needs barcode and current-price confirmation. Exact singles control which card is received, not resale profit. Uncertain packs, editions and non-card merchandise are discussed without fabricated scores.
This is the author's interpretation of the completed photo review, not an independent market score. No new currency conversion, expected opening return or appreciation forecast is established.
Mega Clefable tin — Kanto relevance and product age
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-07
The English Mega Moonlit Tin with Mega Clefable ex launched on 5 June 2026, making it 3 months 2 days old on 7 September. It includes fixed promo MEP072 and four random boosters. Impulse's 4 September price was RM159; ICM's 5 September offer showed RM130 and two left.
Clefable is a Kanto species in a modern Mega form. The random booster expansions are not an all-Kanto guarantee. The dated retailer comparison does not certify current stock, delivery, seals or the actual batch's pack mix.
Two separate scorecards — agreed method and limits
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-07
Version 2 approved 7 September 2026. Full inventory: 21 photos, Impulse 10 / Universal 3 / BoxHunt 8, all IOI City Mall, observed 4 September. Card desirability weights demand 50%, realised value 30%, edition distinction 20%; purchase value price 50%, contents 30%, lower risk 20%. Separate totals, never averaged. Exact-card window 24 August–6 September, accessed 7 September. Minimum 3 matching raw NM/mint reported records on 2 dates; history must reach before 24 August. Demand uses distinct dates:1=20,2–3=40,4–6=60,7–10=80,11–14=100. Value=clamp(50×log10(median USD/10),0,100). Edition tiers ordinary 20, illustration 60, exclusive promo70, SIR/SAR/alternate 80, documented individually numbered 100. Price fairness=clamp(70−150×(photo RM/benchmark RM−1),0,100). Published totals rounded 1decimal; displayed ties share merit. Missing evidence is unscored, not zero. Uneven provider/language coverage; no literal market cap, total circulating supply, local resale bid or pack expected value.
Demand is observed repeat activity, not total market turnover or unique buyers. Condition is reported in listing titles, not independently graded. Gem Pack's documented illustration card receives the illustration tier, not a promo or special-art rarity claim. Purchase comparisons exclude delivery; public stock signals were not checkout-tested. Full inventory coverage does not mean every possible card in every expansion has been valued.

Malaysian store prices — product units and value ordering
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-07
The price column maps each researched exact card to representative related-product offers photographed on 4 September 2026 at IOI City Mall. These are pack, deck or gift-box asking prices, not individual-card quotes or confirmed current stock. Random possible pulls are not guaranteed; fixed promos are explicitly named. The purchase tables expose store and RM price separately and sort descending by the unchanged value score within each buying goal. Price fairness uses that displayed store offer against its documented exact-unit Malaysian comparison, with the existing 50/30/20 weights; it does not divide a chase-card price by a pack price. Representative offers are not an exhaustive cheapest-offer search.
Presentation revision requested 7 September. No new sales, price refresh, weight change or score change. A product-price link does not make an unscored purchase eligible; the independent-benchmark gate still applies.

iGamez — Japanese Ninja, Abyss and Mega Dream boxes
RetailerRecorded 2026-09-16
Named Japanese box listings show Ninja Spinner RM419, Abyss Eye RM459 and Mega Dream ex RM509, with ready-stock and factory-sealed claims. Pocketmart's pictured boxes are respectively RM499.99 (+19.33%), RM499.99 (+8.93%) and RM599.99 (+17.88%), before delivery.
Retrieved retailer-page claims on 16 September 2026, potentially cached; no checkout, delivery quote or independent stock verification. Not an exhaustive cheapest-in-Malaysia search. Each comparison depends on confirming the actual complete vending box and seal.
Storm x3: RM69.99 / 3 = RM23.33 per pack; saves RM1.98 (2.75%) versus three RM23.99 singles. Pitch x3: RM95.99 / 3 ≈ RM32.00; saves RM2.98 (3.01%) versus three RM32.99 singles. If Ninja/Abyss boxes contain 30 packs, RM499.99 / 30 ≈ RM16.67, 12.24% below 30 machine singles. If Mega Dream contains ten packs, RM599.99 is RM0.09 more than ten RM59.99 singles. If Gem3 contains 18 packs, RM499.99 / 18 ≈ RM27.78.
Divisions depend on physical box confirmation. Same-menu savings are not price-fairness scores or expected card returns. Retailer x3 bundles are not official six-pack Booster Bundles.
Earlier physical-shop comparisons — historical only
ObservationRecorded 2026-09-04, 2026-09-16
4 September tags: Box Hunt Japanese Ninja Spinner single RM12, Glory of Team Rocket RM30, Black Bolt RM40, White Flare RM35; English Chaos Rising single RM26. Impulse pictured Abyss Eye box RM329, Mega Dream RM499 and Gem3 RM449, with the recorded count/format conditions.
Not refreshed stock or currently available prices. Impulse's Pitch Black sleeve is a different outer SKU from the vending foil image. Japanese and English Black Bolt are not interchangeable.
The photo intake added 24 offer records without a new exact-card transaction dataset or numerical score. Historical version-two collector results retain their 24 August–6 September window. A full current rerank requires one comparable refreshed window; a wrapper or pack price cannot establish the most-sought-after card.
Missing benchmarks or unresolved physical formats remain unscored, not zero. Subsequent public-page preparation is documented separately.
Kanto relevance and exclusions — no language penalty
JudgementRecorded 2026-09-16
Relevant random-pool routes include Gem4/Ponyta, Gem5/Captain Pikachu, Gem3/Gengar-Meowth-Cubone, Mega Brave/Venusaur, Mega Symphonia/Kangaskhan, Inferno X/Charizard, Mega Dream/Dragonite and Glory of Team Rocket/Mewtwo. Modern Megas are not vintage. Headline Greninja, Darkrai, Rayquaza and Unova routes are primarily all-generation interests; a wrapper does not establish the full set's species scope.
Pokémon owner/operator country is Japan, not a claim about wrapper manufacture or licensee ownership. Sold-out, unidentified tin excluded; other card games and figures are outside Pokémon-card rankings.
Dated Pocketmart price update — not a scoring refresh
JudgementRecorded 2026-09-16
Both guides add a 16 September Pocketmart price check while retaining the 7 September card-worth assessment, its 24 August–6 September sales window and the earlier scored 4 September IOI shop offers. Price-check rows sort relative asking-price premium, not value /100 or card worth. Kanto pack options sort upfront cost.
No new numerical scores or refreshed whole-market claims. Conditional formats, unverified stock, seals and delivery costs remain material.
Purchase-score revision 3, assessed 19 September 2026. Availability contributes no points, penalty or eligibility gate. Prices remain dated 4–7 September observations; this is not a September-19 price refresh. For each scored SKU use the lowest documented independent Malaysian asking comparison within that retained window, matching language, quantity and sealed product format. A sold-out, backorder or preorder offer remains valid price evidence; never assume it can be purchased. A superseded price from the same seller, uncertain variant/quantity, self-comparison, hypothetical multipack sum, or price evidence outside the window is not a comparable benchmark. No checkout or copy authentication is implied. All contents/risk inputs for previously scored offers remain unchanged; additions use the same documented anchors. Card-worth scores and sale sample remain unchanged.
19 September correction; retained September4–7 price evidence, no new stock check. Historical v2 scoring is archived.
19 September correction; retained September4–7 price evidence, no new stock check. Historical v2 scoring is archived.

Exact-card availability filter scope
ResearchRecorded 2026-09-19, 2026-09-07
All 27 exact-card entries across the two guides have Malaysia availability status unknown, in_stock null, checked_on 2026-09-07. This date identifies the retained research assessment, not a new stock verification. Pack, gift-box, foreign single-card ask and reported-sale evidence do not establish orderable Malaysian stock of each exact single printing and condition. The filter therefore classifies them as unavailable or unconfirmed; all scores remain visible by default. Separate purchase tables show all dated pack and box offers and buying caveats.
Unknown does not mean proven unavailable. No new local stock search.
